Dr Mohamed Al Zaabi
Dr Mohamed Al Zaabi is Head of Department of Haematology and Blood Bank at Khoula Hospital, Ministry of Health, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
Dr Al Zaabi completed his Haematology Training at Oman Medical Speciality Board in 2013. He then joined a Fellowship Program under the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) in London, UK until 2016 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) since 2015. His specialisation is in the area of Haematopathology, Haemostasis and Transfusion Medicine.
Dr Al Zaabi is chairman of the Hospital Transfusion Committee, Member of MOH Coagulation Guidelines Task Force and reviewer at Oman Medical Journal. With special interest in advanced diagnostic in coagulation testing and state-of-the-art technologies in immunohematology. Dr Al Zaabi has been involved in several publications and abstract presentations at local symposia, journal clubs and international conferences.
