February - Identifying cells and malign degenerations
All cell types and their maturation status can be characterised by individual surface proteins. The presence of certain cell types, proportional or absolute, or changes in antigen expressions on the cell surface or intracellular, are observed in benign alterations and malign degenerations. Detecting new proteins on the surface and intracellular, and understanding their role in cell-born diseases, is fundamental for further improving diagnosis and therapy.
